A fantastic August at the Beach

I rented this lovely space for the month of August and I was surprised with the actual space I how many larger paintings I managed to fit in. 

A big thanks to everyone who dropped in to say hello or take part in the mini painting lessons down at East Beach Studios in Worthing, it was such fun.

I had a lovely space to hold watercolour lessons and lots of people took advantage of sitting out of the heat (the 2nd heatwave!) to paint, some of them for the first time.

In the first week there was a cake and fizz event which was great fun with music, gorgeous macaroons (thank you Marianne) and fizz, a super way to end a summers day.

It would be lovely to have the space permanently but in the end I was there for 3 weeks cutting it short as a big painting commission has come in and I am now spending long days back in the studio constructing, more details to follow about that.

What an amazing social August it was, thank you if you made it along, shared time with me down there and made it really special.
