Returns and Refund Policy (UK)

Thank you for your purchase. I hope you love your artwork, but if something isn’t right, this policy outlines your rights and what to do next.


Your Right to Cancel (Online Orders)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your item.

If you cancel within this time:

  • You will receive a full refund, including the original delivery cost (standard delivery only).

  • You must return the item within 14 days of notifying me.

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or damaged.

Returns After 14 Days

Returns requested after the 14-day legal cancellation period but within 30 days of delivery may be accepted at my discretion and may be subject to a partial refund, depending on the condition of the returned item.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition you received it.

  • It must be in its original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase is required.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or commissioned artwork (unless faulty or damaged)


Partial Refunds May Apply If:

  • The item is returned damaged or shows signs of misuse not due to my error.

  • The item is incomplete or missing parts.

  • The return is made after 30 days and accepted as a goodwill gesture.


Faulty or Damaged Items

If your artwork arrives damaged or faulty, please contact me as soon as possible (within 30 days) with photographs if possible, and I’ll work with you to resolve the issue.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, I will notify you by email whether the refund is approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 working days.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company or bank (it may take time to process).

  3. If you've done this and still have no refund, email me at:

Sale Items

Sale items can be returned under the same terms as regular items unless marked final sale or non-refundable.


Exchanges

Exchanges are only offered if the item is damaged or defective.
Please contact me at 📧 art@janedenman.com to arrange an exchange.


Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift at purchase and shipped directly to you, you may receive store credit for the value of the return. If the gift was sent to the purchaser, the refund will be sent to them.

You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or damaged.

For returns over £75, it is strongly recommended you use a trackable shipping service and/or shipping insurance. I cannot guarantee that I will receive your returned item.

EU Customers

If you are based in the EU or EEA, you are entitled to the same 14-day cancellation period under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. I can send you  a downloadable cancellation form to complete by email
You must inform me in writing (e.g. by email) within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to cancel.
You will receive a full refund within 14 days of me receiving your return or proof of return postage.
