January 2021 Raising Money for Refuge

I am devoting January to raising money for Refuge, helping women and children who are finding it increasingly difficult in lockdown with abusive partners. So many charities are struggling with fundraising at the moment, Refuge are running a campaign called Stepup and asking volunteers to run, bake or do something creative. So to join in with this I have decided to take part selling  my Tiny Paintings.

I have been painting these wooden postcards for a couple of years now and have a Facebook group where I have run prize draws and specials all to do with these tiny paintings. Join the group and see the latest Tiny Paintings that will be added throughout January, they will also be posted here.

The paintings are all of women, I love painting them and they make super gifts and fit small frames perfectly. You can choose from the original painting (signed) or from prints also done on wooden postcards.

60% of sales will be donated to Refuge and their January Stepup campaign

Information From Refuge:

Almost one in three women aged 16-59 in England and Wales will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. Thank you for stepping up for Refuge

How your fundraising will help Refuge
£10 could fund a single phone call that ultimately saves a woman’s life.
£39 could provide a mother arriving at a shelter with the essentials she needs, plus toys and books for her children.
£78 could provide a remote community worker with a mobile phone that could save a woman’s life.
£117 could help fund the running of Refuge’s National Domestic Abuse Helpline for one hour.
£156 could help fund three nights in a Refuge shelter for a woman fleeing domestic abuse.

You can either purchase the Tiny Paintings and Prints from the gallery online using PayPal or email me (avoiding Paypal charges for myself) and I will send you an invoice. Either way you will receive your painting or print in the post.
