Wow - What An Amazing Response!

Every year, 1.6 million women experience domestic abuse in England and Wales. That’s the equivalent of three women every minute.

Together, we’re making sure women have a lifeline during lockdown – with a safe place to turn and help to rebuild their lives. Demand for our services remains high, so every donation counts.

I decided to see if I could raise money to help out and the response has been amazing both here on my website, through social media and friends. Many were so generous giving more than the price of an original painting or print and some even ordering more for friends as gifts. I am truly humbled;  women are supporting other women in times of need. 

The fundraising ends on 31 January and so I say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported this either by purchasing an original tiny painting or a tiny print or from sharing it on social media.

How your fundraising will help Refuge
£10 could fund a single phone call that ultimately saves a woman’s life.
£39 could provide a mother arriving at a shelter with the essentials she needs, plus toys and books for her children.
£78 could provide a remote community worker with a mobile phone that could save a woman’s life.
£117 could help fund the running of Refuge’s National Domestic Abuse Helpline for one hour.
£156 could help fund three nights in a Refuge shelter for a woman fleeing domestic abuse.

You can either purchase the Tiny Paintings and Prints from the gallery online using PayPal or email me (avoiding Paypal charges for myself) and I will send you an invoice. Either way you will receive your painting or print in the post.
