You are Invited! May 2026 Open House in Brighton

It’s open house time in May again! I am excited to be showing some of my larger paintings including the canvas The Big Blue Lagoon. The venue is at my friends house in Brighton as part of the Open Houses in May, which is one of the largest open house events in the UK. This is a super chance to meet 100s of artists as they fling open their doors and welcome you into their homes. Last year it was our 25th year of participating! My host and friend Frances Doherty invited me to do the open house with her at her house 25 years ago just after we had both graduated from doing our BAs in Fine Art.

This year we continue to celebrate (any excuse!)  and welcoming the public in. This year we continue with our Art Raffle, where you could win a piece of art from us. I am donating a painting so do come along.

Getting there: train or buses work best in Brighton and walking is advisable from house to house as it gets very busy in Brighton for parking. Some of the houses are wheelchair friendly and also offer tea and cakes
